It is a bit difficult to get to as no cars are allowed into the Condo, but if you park on the main road and walk into the area you won't be dissappointed, the beach is beautiful and worth the hike!

The best waterfalls to visit are definately these ones. The hike can be steep but it is well worth it. Just don't forget your insect repellent as the mosquitoes are a nightmare!

If you want to explore some historical sites, i suggest visiting the old town here, it is very nice to wander around and explore the historical buildings and take a walk along the seafront.

If you want to explore some historical sites, i suggest visiting the old town here, it is very nice to wander around and explore the historical buildings and take a walk along the seafront.
If you really want to explore historical places Paraty is worth the drive. It does take 3 hours to drive but you will not be disappointed. It is in the state of Rio De Janerio and it is steeped in history. I would recommend staying overnight here to experience the town fully.

It does get very hot here, even during the winter months the sun can get quite strong. Bring sun cream, hat and flip flops!

As the chalet is close to the Atlantic forest, mosquitoes will be around just looking for a feast! Please bring it with you as it is more expensive to buy here.
