Beaches

The most beautiful and famous beaches of Fuerteventura
Playa Chica is the renewed center beach in Pto. del Rosario. This is a lively beach with a few eating and drinking places on the boulevard, and the locals also like to come to this beach. There are facilities on this beach. Visit this beach in combination with a visit to Las Rotondas Centro Comercial, if you are traveling by car you can leave the car in the parking garage of Las Rotondas. Walk down (even if you go by bus) on the left side of Las Rotondas and you will automatically reach the beach.  Line bus 03 direction Pto. del Rosario stop Las Rotondas

A pristine beach of nine kilometers in Fuerteventura. The beach of Sotavento is the most talked about beach on the island. Just the size of it, about nine kilometers long, make the visitors astonish. At low tide, the island gains so much ground that some locals doubt whether Tenerife is the largest island in the Canary Islands. The constant sun, the enormous pools that are created and the endless golden-yellow sand give the beach a paradisiacal appearance. A lot of windsurfing and kite surfing are available on this beach. Sotavento consists of five connected beaches: La Barca, Risco del Paso, Mirador, Malnombre and Los Canarios. A sandbar 100 to 300 meters away from the coast creates a lagoon of three kilometers in length.
