Laguna beach is a must see for most visitors! We recommend this spot for travelers who want to get the full experience - big waves, beautiful sand, and such a fun atmosphere. It’s where everyone goes though so if you’re not in the mood for a crowd, check out one of our other recommendations.
This spot is about 10 miles (20 minutes) from the house!
Main Beach Park
This our favorite and most frequented beach spot! It’s less than 15 minutes from the house, less touristy (if that’s even a thing), typically very clean, and always so beautiful!

This is a very lovely spot. It feels most like a private beach. It’s secluded, very clean, and rarely busy. Keep in mind that there really are a ‘thousand steps’ so pack lightly and be prepared to get in a little workout!
Also note that this beach is in a private, residential area so parking can be tricky sometimes. There is a public restroom and shower here though - super convenient!

Thousand Steps Sea Cave
North La Senda DriveThis is a very lovely spot. It feels most like a private beach. It’s secluded, very clean, and rarely busy. Keep in mind that there really are a ‘thousand steps’ so pack lightly and be prepared to get in a little workout!
