Take the aerial tram to Ober Gatlinburg. Great views. Skiing in season. Ice skating, alpine slide, chairlifts, restraurants & shops. A good place to explore for a couple hours.

Beautiful Park. Check out Cades Cove for a good chance to see bears in spring & summer months & explore the homes & churches from the days before this area was a national park. Also, visit Clingsman Dome for stunning views. Laurel Falls Trail is a great hike for families or anyone wanting a fairly easy hike. Roaring Fork Motor Nature Trail is a nice drive.
