It was a wonderful treat to Hanoi by catching with local friends who knows the right places for authentic cuisine.
FOOD:
The food is great representing dishes from North, Central and South of Vietnam.
We love their water which is corn water, it’s refreshing, hint of sweetness and really good.
AMBIANCE:
It’s like taken back 1946, the uniform of staff is like national service uniform, the decor and plate are vintage style.
PHILOSOPHY:
During the year 1946 it was considered the worst famine in Vietnam’s history.

It's standard fast-food with a fast delivery at a very reasonable price. I've ordered in from here several times and never had an issue. The people on the phone were always friendly and the delivery was ALWAYS really fast.

I found this place to have great Korean food and great service. I went here twice for lunch and found it to be great experience. If you are craving for some Korean Food, this is the place in Hanoi for you!

best local desserts, very delicious and amazing for sweet lovers, cheap and quiet place for trying some Vietnamese dessert, we try coconut jelly in fresh coconut and love it so much.highly recommended! enjoy it!

authentic Hanoi Bia Hoi pub. Not fancy but no hawkers like at Bia Hoi corner. Small chairs and tables on the footpath, busy at night because its good and cheap. Mostly locals. You can have the fried sparrow if you want, but the more western-oriented spring rolls and noodles are great, the beer is good and cold, and the location allows great people watching. As always as a tourist in Viet Nam - check price matches menu before agreeing to order

Paid ₫150k ($7) for one hour body massage. Based on this price I wasn’t surprised and didn’t mind there being two other beds in the room with other ladies being massaged. I had asked at the reception desk to tailor the usual “full body” to just neck and shoulders which they said was fine but half way through I had to inform the lady that I didn’t want legs and arms, and from then on she lost interest and repeated the same few motions and was chatting a lot to the other masseuses. She also didn’t hold up the towel to give me some privacy when I turned over to my front which felt a little awkward with other people in the room. I wasn’t expecting 5 star luxury but was disappointed to find mysel

You can get most of the things you need from here like vegetables for salad, fruits, eggs, bread, butter and Oats for breakfast or a quick meal in your room. They also keep Beers and some liquor.
It will be great if the Cashiers/help staff also knew a bit of English (wishful thinking).
I would definitely recommend them. (and it takes one min to walk from our house)

Firstly, it must be said that it is good to see statues to Lenin in place. Not because I have Communist sympathies, but because he was part of world history. His place in the Communist system of which Vietnam is closely allied with is poignant.
Locals gather here in the morning to perform Tai Chi and other forms of exercise. I saw a local lady training her dog to lifts it paws in succession as though dancing. Interestingly the dog had a very nice coat, but more spectacularly was the red nail varnish it had on its toes - I could not believe my eyes - see photos. I found it a refreshing place to stop. A colleague and I got up early one morning to go for a stroll and I'm glad that we did.

Really lovely Service, The People were so Friendly and the Choir and Music absolutely wonderful., the Church itself is Beautiful and cool (High Ceiling) all in all a truly nice Sunday Service.

The Unicorn Kafe is a unique coffee shop in Hanoi. Where else can you wear a unicorn onsie while drinking magical milkshakes and cappuccinos? Everything is over the top and delicious. I had a unicookie with unicake and a strawberry milkshake. The owners are also very friendly
