Fjell is the nearest town. Has some shops, a nice cafe and a beautiful church.
A WW2 bunker - has some nice walks and the tour is very interesting. Has a small cafe.

Probably the world's cosiest bakery - has an open fire, chickens ambling around the yard and a beautiful little private beach. Also the food is fantastic and has great friendly staff - only problem is it's not open all that often

Quite expensive but swish hotel that serves good food with a great location overlooking the Atlantic. Also has many activities on offer: day trips, jet-ski hire etc.

The Sartor centre is surprisingly huge considering the population of the islands and has almost everything you'd expect to find in a much more urban area: High-street shops, supermarkets, restaurants, bowling alley, cinema etc. Only 20 minutes drive from the house.
