“Central” point for the city, to and from HOME

This will be the central point for travelling to and from the city from my home. Going to the city and returning home, this Station will be the main middle point. There’s also some great landmarks and sight seeing nearby and within this area. London Bridge, Tower Bridge, Borough Market (mainly fresh food).

Tipps für Reisende

Buche vor der Abreise

Museum’s, Aquariums, London Eye etc

Best you book online/phone beforehand to make sure it’s accessible and you usually end up paying less booked in advance too. Turning up on the day to pay for events, especially in high tourist trafficked areas, are usually more costly that paying and booking in advance

Travelling in the city

London Underground 🚊 is the fastest way to get around and about Central London (West end etc). From the house, (Grove Park Station) take the Southern Eastern line to London Bridge Station. This station is both ‘National Rail’ and ‘London Underground’. London Underground lines, Northern (black) line and the Jubilee (silver/grey) line, WESTBOUND, will take you deeper into central london tourist hotspots such as Tottenham Court Road (Oxford Circus) and Westminister (Parliament Sq and Big Ben) - Also highly recommended to travel from early, London is vast and travelling around can be exhaustive.

Taking Pictures

When sightseeing outside all is welcomed, however certain places inside have rules when it comes to photo taking. Regardless of the building always ask for permission to take pictures, this ensures you’re respectful of the environment you’re in, no matter what and makes it less likely to offend or accidentally break rules
