Places to visit

This is just one of the many lovely waterfalls to visit within the Barrington Coast. Check for road closures during wet weather. 4WD easiest access, but if confident driver, road ok for higher vehicles. See other waterfalls on the Barrington Coast website or instagram https://barringtoncoast.com.au/explore/finding-the-top-10-waterfalls-in-the-barrington-coast https://weareexplorers.co/wild-swimming-near-sydney/?utm_content=154464828&utm_medium=social&utm_source=facebook&hss_channel=fbp-122777091106362

This is just one of many, many gorgeous beaches in our Barrington Coast region, which spans from Forster in the Great Lakes region, to Gloucester in the Barrington mountains to the lovely Manning Valley which includes Taree. Check out the lists and photos on the Barrington Coast website or Instagram page https://instagram.com/barringtoncoast?igshid=iub0zkvwt36e Our favourite beaches are; 1. Saltwater / Wallabi Point (not patrolled) good surfing 2. Crowdy Head patrolled (check for weed first), back beach good for surfing but not patrolled. 3. Harrington lagoon is good for kids 4. Diamond Head (Crowdy Head National Park), not patrolled, but beautiful scenery and yes, there really are kangaroos on the beach! 5. Blackhead or Forster seawater pools or many beaches in Forster (some patrolled)
