Perfect, friendly and comfortable atmosphere. Wonderful staff, quick service, reasonable prices... and very awesome and tasty dishes! Fishsoup (vissoep) was sooo delicious, best I ever had. Even children liked it. Kabeljauw (fish filet) and Bavette (steak, grilled, medium rear) awesome!!! We ate it all before I remembered to take photos.

Very Friendly Staff, Good prices and highly recommended to get a lunch table, that is a small table with all kind of dutch treat's. The place is huge and enough seating outside. Everyday they've some new Fresh Fish that is caught daily by the local Fisher man !

Vissers monument 1914 - 1918
On a high dune on the Voorstraat in Egmond aan Zee we find the Fishermen Monument. The memorial stone contains the names of the 150 fishermen who died at sea during the First World War. The monument commemorates this black age of Egmond aan Zee as a fishing village.

Stichting Historisch Egmond
The Abbey of Egmond-Binnen, founded by the first count of Holland, the lighthouse of Egmond aan Zee and the foundations of the castle at Egmond aan den Hoef .. They are icons of the unique history that goes back more than 13 centuries.
Our visitor center is located opposite the closing foundations in Egmond aan den Hoef. Every Saturday and Sunday you are most welcome from 2 pm to 5 pm. The center is often also open in the afternoon during the week. You can see exhibitions there and learn everything about the Egmond House, the powerful family and its family castle, the 'Slot op den Hoef'.

Best bicycle rentals with unbelievably friendly service in Dutch, German or English language.
Have rented several bikes here including children's bicycles, a parent - child tandem and some standard 'Hollander' models. All come with locks, are in excellent condition and very clean.
Process are very reasonable and fair, rental until 7pm same day (summer season) or over more days \ week possible.
Advice from staff is reliable and they are beyond helpful with route questions etc.
Highly recommended.

The Summer fair of Egmond aan Zee starts the first Wednesday from 5 pm to 10 pm and starts in June and runs until the last Wednesday in August.

Come and visit the Christmas Market at Restaurant Naturally in Egmond aan Zee, near the beach! The center is also open this day and within walking distance. Among other things, the car park is transformed into a market, but parking is free in the area.
The market takes place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
