The oldest coffee place in Tallinn with traditional freshly made pastries. Try the curd filled choux pastry (kohupiimatasku), it may just be the local replacement for your morning croissant.

F-Hoone is situated in a former industrial complex, just outside old-town past rail-way station. It's a great family friendly place with excellent food and good selection of beers.

Nop Cafe and health food shop has both great atmosphere and good food for late breakfast or lunch. The cakes are wonderful, too. In summer time seating outside in the garden is a bonus. It's very family friendly too. And if you wish to buy organic food, their shop is very well stocked.

The NUKU museum is an excellent place for kids. It's a puppet museum, with interactive display. Unfortunately the info is just in Estonian, but visually it's great also for non-estonian speaking kids.
