Both of our condos, "Miramar Star" and "Sandestin Sun," are located within the gates of Sandestin in the Heron Walk neighborhood. Heron Walk is the most centrally-located neighborhood in Sandestin - nothing is more than a mile away in either direction. Make sure you book a place that includes a golf cart!

Sandestin Resort Activities and Amenities
Sandestin has amazing amenities and activities right on the resort - you never have to leave!
Everyone will love Baytowne Wharf - the kids will have fun at the arcade and the adventure zone, and the adults will love the food and drinks. Come for live music, fine and casual dining, and a really good time!

Our kids love this place like no other - and it's super clean and the people are nice! Toss the kids in there with loaded up cards and grab a sangria from Cannery Lane across the way and sit on the deck and enjoy yourself!

There is a movie theater right on site in Sandestin. If you find yourself there on a rainy day, or on the day of a big movie release that you just can't miss, then you are in luck! They even have a dine-in option!

Get to 30A
Head out of Sandestin and take a morning road trip to old Highway 30A! Stop at the beaches and cafes along the way, and just enjoy your drive and adventure!

We always take a day for the kids, turning it into a "Yes Day in Destin." There is a lot for the kids to do, and parents will enjoy watching the kids overwhelmed with joy!
The kids will enjoy seeing and touching all kinds of sealife - it's a great rainy-day place to hang out and learn.

The dining options within Sandestin and outside the gates are endless, and you will not be disappointed! We skip the chains, for the most part, and go for the local establishments.
Fantastic views and the best "bar food" you'll find on 30A! We love coming here and getting a spot up on the deck - great happy hour menu and a truly fantastic burger (says this Iowa native who has been raised with the best beef!)!
