Trinity College is a must see if you're sightseeing in Dublin. It houses the Book of Kells, an illuminated manscript that dates back to 800AD. The Old Library is breathtaking. It is very close to Grafton Street which is a great area for shopping.

This is a wonderful place to shop and walk around. It's close to the Spire, Parnell Statue and the GPO. Arnotts is the oldest and largest department store and is in the middle of Henry Street.

Attractions
If you're a fan of whiskey then this is a wonderful experience. It's only very slightly on the cheesy side but the samples were excellent and there's a very comfy bar with a great view onto college green. Try the Writer's Tears whiskey.

Neighbourhoods
Smithfield is a little outside of the main hustle and bustle of Dublin City. There are great restaurants (My Meat Wagon, Thundercut Alley, Urbanity) and a wonderful Cinema, The Lighthouse. We love this area and lived happily here for 4 years.

Capel Street has a huge amount of excellent Asian restaurants - Musashi, Arisu and Aobaba for example. Ephesus is an excellent kebab place. Brother Hubbard does wonderful breakfast/brunches. Black Sheep will serve you tasty craft beers.
