The VA Aquarium has a wide selection of Marine life. They host many exhibits that allow you to interact with the animals and their keepers. Or go on a whale/dolphin watching boat ride. If you have a thrill for heights and swinging be sure to check out their Ziplining (Ages 5 and up)

If you have children the Children's museum of Portsmouth is a must stop. There are many activities that will allow your kids to imagine, explore and discover through playing, toys, and shows. The grocery store and the dental exhibit were our top favorites.
