One of the most beautiful hikes in the area. Highly recommend timing your home for a sunset or sunrise summit. It’s about a mile each way but has some pretty good elevation gains. Don’t miss this!

So many wonderful overlooks along the parkway. This has been one of my favorites since I was a kid. Some days you’ll find hang gliders jumping and flying off the edges of the cliffs. One of the most photographed trees and overlooks along all of the parkway.

Ravens Roost Overlook
Blue Ridge ParkwaySo many wonderful overlooks along the parkway. This has been one of my favorites since I was a kid. Some days you’ll find hang gliders jumping and flying off the edges of the cliffs. One of the most photographed trees and overlooks along all of the parkway.
Big Meadows is located inside of the Skyline Drive. You can access the drive from I-64 on the top of Afton Mountain. It’s a gorgeous drive no matter what time of year.
Enjoy the Wayside restaurant’s, overlooks, Wild life (deer, bald eagles, hawks, and keep your eyes pealed for Black Bears)
