Fatto a Mano translates as “made by hand” and this sums up what they are all about. Being handmade extends beyond the food and relates to their simple and honest approach, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Utilising local ingredients to create traditional Italian dishes, Fatto a Mano, have fused their homeland with their seaside home. The main menu is supplemented by ever-changing specials and all of their dishes are created right in front of your eyes. Fatto a Mano have recently created a gluten free base that is as good as their original and offer vegetarian and vegan options.

And just like the food, the décor has a local theme, with all the fixtures and fittings installed by tradespeople from the area. As for the food itself, the focus on local Sussex produce in no way detracts from the choice or the quality. The menu offers amazing brunch options for meat eaters and vegans alike - definitely worth a visit!

Lion and Lobster serves the best Roast Sunday lunches. Lots of nooks and crannies to hole up in. Nothing is available outside and this is very much a dark and dreary day venue. Amazing all winter long, very festive. Definitely book ahead!
