The waterfall here is amazing, definitely a great place to take pictures. If the 230+ steps to the top in high altitude are too much, there’s also an elevator to an observation platform.

A nice hike to a very scenic view, you’ll not be disappointed in the natural beauty on display here. Come in the spring to enjoy all the fragrant wildflowers.

We are within walking distance of this area, once a weapons manufacturing and storage area it’s now a haven for all kinds of birds, deer and prairie dogs.

It’s a natural acoustically perfect and world famous venue for musical acts all the way from the turn of the century til now. Even if you don’t visit the free attached museum, it’s worth a look just for the raw natural beauty and view of Denver from the foothills.

This is the “Main Street” in Denver. It’s closed off to all but pedestrian traffic and free shuttle buses that run til midnight from the Capital building to Union Station. The street is lined with shops, restaurants and other sites.

Hands down the BEST BAGEL to be had ANYWHERE! They make them fresh at this location and I’ve been coming here for over 20 years! When in Fort Collins this is a MUST STOP for us :-)

There is just something special about this place! To be in the Estes Valley sipping on a perfectly prepared hot drink while sitting in one of the most charming coffee houses anywhere is just an experience to warm ones heart. Go there and you’ll understand just what I’m talking about :-)
