You really are spoiled for choice here, but these are some of my favourite things if you need some help deciding.

Hire kayaks and explore the estuary, or simply enjoy a drink or a meal (highly recommended) at the Ferry Boat Inn. If you're feeling energetic take the bus out from the Moor and walk back to Falmouth along the coast path. (approx 8 miles)

Sooo close and usually has a great little exhibition. And it's free! Perfect for whiling away a rainy hour or so.

Just a few minutes walk down Quarry Hill and on the opposite side of Berkeley Vale. Several screens so usually something to suit your taste. Cheap; and food and drink served in your seat. Another option for a rainy day.

Take the ferry to Flushing and work up an appetite with the circular walk to Mylor. Enjoy lunch in one of the pubs in Flushing before or after your walk, or pause in Mylor at the excellent Castaways Harbourside Restaurant (lots of outside seating; book if you would like to sit indoors)

For a great day out, take the ferry from Prince of Wales Pier to the beautiful village of Malpas via Trelissick (about an hour). The scenery up river is stunning and you will have just over 2 hours in Malpas before your return trip. This is the perfect amount of time to walk to the stunning nearby hamlet of St Clement with its quaint waterfront and gorgeous church, and to have coffee/lunch drinking in the views at Heron Inn farm shop and cafe on the quay at Malpas while waiting for your return ferry. If you are lucky you may see seals basking on the buoys of the mussel farm en route.

A pretty National Trust garden with a great maze, and the tiny riverside village of Durgan at the end of the valley. You can extend your trip by walking through the garden and then along the coast path to Helford Passage and the Ferry Boat Inn for lunch

Sightseeing

Take the ferry to St Mawes and wander along the path past the castle to this beautiful spot by the creek. There is a lovely cafe, Miss V’s just beyond for a light lunch or cream tea.

A tiny little gem of a restaurant in Brewer's yard just off the High Street. You will need to book. Pop in to The Chintz before or after for a drink.

Fabulous coffee and breakfast for vegans and carnivores and anything in currently available to take away or eat in if you pre book at weekends. Opposite side of The Moor. In pre covid days they did a wonderful vegan tasting menu on a Saturday night which I am hoping will restart when regulations allow.
