Coffee shops in Vietnam are very diverse in style, vibes and are everywhere. Here is a list of my favorite coffee shops in Saigon.Some are great for working, others are great relax and of course, all of them have good Vietnamese coffees as well as specialty and Western coffees.
A small coffee shop, perfectly to sit and relax. The price is somewhat more expensive compare to other Vietnamese coffee shop.This coffee shop is more focused on the western coffee.

Even though this one is a bit far from the condo ( 15-20 mins taxi) , this is my to go coffee shop. This shop has been here since 1960s ! Absolutely local favorite !
Note: there will be no table or a legit shop, just stools on the alley and enjoy the BEST Vietnamese coffee ( IMHO :) )

A hole in a wall, this is a place where nomads, expats of Saigon go to for hanging out. Love their cozy vibe and their rooftop seats. Here, they have variety of beers from both imports and locals. 10-15 mins walk from our home.

Want to see how the youth in Saigon doing ? Come here and you will see many young people practicing their dance skills ( including me ;). This is the spot for dancers/breakdancers around Saigon to hangout every night in weekdays ( 8pm - 11pm : Monday - Friday) to practice their skills together. Its right at District 1.

You are not officially in Saigon if you haven't eaten Cơm Tấm ( broken rice). This restaurant is a local favorite for this dish. Highly recommend. Only Open from early morning until noon
