This is the closest restaurant to our house and it is a guest favorite. It would be a lovely walk to the restaurant, you can take in our neighborhood's amazing view the whole way, but I'd recommend taking a Lyft back to the apartment because it is all uphill on the way back!

I highly recommend for a wine tasting. It's in South Seattle, so not far from the apartment. If you go upstairs, you can drink your wine and watch the airplanes take off and land; the large windows overlook Boeing Field.

In North Seattle- A great place to sit outside with an almost guaranteed place to sit, drink beer and play Corn Hole. They have an all vegan hotdog and burger cart with amazing concoctions- heavy, greasy, delicious comfort food.

We love to take our son to this park, it's beautiful and on Lake Washington. There is an old growth forest to take a relaxing stroll/hike. Borrow some binoculars from the center and go birding in the forest.

9404 E Marginal Way SA beautiful 20 acre Japanese garden, close to the apartment. It truly is a lovely setting, photographers think so too, there is usually at least one photo shoot going on whenever we visit.

Not Too Far Out
I love this lake! It's about a 40 minute drive east. One thing I love about this lake is there is beach access almost around the entire lake, unlike so many Seattle area lakes, so if you want a private spot, you can get one! Snoqualmie Falls is (somewhat) on the way, so you might want to check that out too!
