Población is just about the best place to go for the night if you've only got one night in the City. Bambike does occasional tours here, but you can also just grab a cab, and walk around.

Población is a fun little district bordered by the red light district of Makati. The block is full of little hole-in-the-wall restaurants, bars, and shops. Kermit's pizza is a great place to start your night!

This hole-in-the-wall bar is just a couple of blocks away from our Mariposa Nest, and is home to the best jazz musicians in the country. Check the place out anytime after 9pm to catch the musicians jamming before and after their gigs around the city. Wear protective clothing, there are some flying insects here!

Greenhills Shopping Center is the go-to shopping mall in the city. Its unique "baratilyo" stalls sell wares from around the country, most notably the pearl section, where you'll find pearls of all shapes and sizes from our Southern islands. Better to go here on a weekday, as it can get crowded on weekends!

Hands down the best grocery store in Manila. Unimart is one of the oldest grocery stores in the area, though now recently renovated. You'll find things here that you won't find anywhere else. There's also a money changer just outside the grocery store.

The original JT's Manukan serves Bacolod chicken inasal by the roadside. This branch caters to a lot of film industry workers. The food is great, and the beer is cheap.
