Worth a visit. There is the carving on the granite, which is worth seeing as well as reflecting on the challenging past of racism in our nation. You can also hike (45 mins, strenuous) or cable car to the top for a great view of the city. Lots of hiking trails, a lake where you can rent kayaks, and an amusement park (seasonal). $10 parking pass gives you access.

Our local park less than a mile from our house. Left our of our driveway. Left after the stop sign. Right at the next stop sign. The park is on the right just across the railroad tracks. Recreation area, playground. 3-mile Greenway walking/cycling path. And a Mexican cafe in a double decker tourist bus turned restaurant.
