I am sure you have come to Piste in order to visit Chichen Itza. This stunning archaeological site just 10 minutes from Piste town is one in a million, the most visited site in Yucatan itself! Do not miss the light show in the evenings either. And we suggest you get to the site early; 9am to be precise, so you can skip the ridiculously long queues and have some empty shots of the ruins for your pictures!
You will be asked to leave your tripod or selfie stick at this site, like many. If you bring a camera you may do so without a tripod.

A beautiful town, old and majestic, Valladolid is worth driving through on the way to or from Piste. It has a beautiful plaza and church and is full of charm. Not as busy as Merida, and closer to Tulum or Cancun or Playa del Carmen depending on if its a day trip.
