For more information, check with the Jefferson County Visitor Center. Shepherdstown has its own visitor website. Harpers Ferry, Shepherdstown, and Charles Town are all quaint little towns full of history. Historic downtown Frederick, MD, is an easy (traffic free) 25-minute drive away, and the city overall is much larger for those wanting lots of shopping options.
