Neat spot for a day trip. Walk through three old railway tunnels and look down at the raging river. Also try to spot where Rambo did his famous jump into the river!

Parks & Nature
Manning Park is a 40 minute drive from Sunshine Valley and is well worth the trip. Take an easy hike around Lightening Lakes or a longer hike on many other trails (my 7 and 9 year old like the Three Falls hike). There are canoe rentals at Lightening Lake and fishing and swimming spots. You can also drive up to see alpine meadows and gorgeous views of the surrounding mountains.

Hike to an old silver mine and waterfall (approximately 30 minutes). This is also a good spot to picnic by the Sumallo River and go for a dip if you don't mind cold mountain water.
