Hike the Grouse Grind in the summer or Ski in the winter. This mountain offers a ton of stuff to do and see in any season. On a sunny day the view from the top is second to none.

Walk the sea wall from Park Royal to Dundarave. Beautiful views along the way of Stanley Park, The Lions Gate Bridge and the Harbour. You can make this as long or short as you like. If you do the entire route it is around 10km. Want a shorter walk just jump in at John Lawson Park. I like to combine my walk with a meal either at one of the restaurants at Park Royal or in Dundarave. The map shows this as being in Vancouver because there is a much bigger seawall around Stnaley Park. We have a great one in West Vancouver too! This is the one I am referring to here.

Parks & Nature

Very well done spot to visit during any season. Great little gift shop, interesting walking trails, food, this place has it all. My favorite is when the Christmas lights are on. Don't miss it if there is snow on the ground.

One of the largest urban parks in the world. You can stroll around it on the sea wall or visit the hiking/walking trails, stop in at the Aquarium and see the otters or drive around it and stop in at the totem poles. I like to walk across the Lions Gate Bridge then around Stanley Park which is around 15km. Lots of bathrooms along the way makes it easy and tons of food options too! Prospect point has a nice little cafe where you can stop for a glass of wine and look back towards our house.

A hilly hike to a great lookout. Busy trail at all times of day. Grab sushi in Deep Cove then hike up and eat it on the rock. When your hike is over you can always find ice cream in Deep Cove.
