This is our favorite happy hour / dinner special spot. Really good crushes (a favorite local drink) and anything you order is going to taste amazing at an unbeatable price. Specials are:
Monday: $5 Wing night - Voodoo sauce (off menu) and the garlic buffalo are the highlights
Tuesday night - $5 burger night
Wednesday night - $10 Steak night. Great sirloin with homemade mash and gravy and mixed veggies. Also note: $4 glasses of wine
Thursday - boiled shrimp. $7 half a lb. $13 lb. Best shrimp in town

Parks & Nature
This is pretty unique to Baltimore. Waterfront beach, no swimming, with hammocks, bocci ball, volleyball nets, and tons of loungers. Great bar and unique food at a steep price. Great way to see the city as it is free to get in. Just be sure to bring your id.

Monkton Bike is a place where you can rent tubes to float down the gunpowder. This is a pretty cool river as it sparkles gold when the sun hits it. Also, the NCR trail goes right beside it so you can hike up with tubes, and float down back to your car. On the weekend, parking gets tough so try and get there before 11am. Side note, the water is cold... very cold, so make sure you go on a hot day. You'll get used to it after you are in the water for 3 minutes or you go numb. Whichever happens first. ;-)

Really cool and bizarre museum. One of my favorites in the city. All displayed artist must be self taught. And there are some bonkers self taught artists out there.
Grab an interesting cocktail at Encantada on the 3rd floor and then go look at the bizarre and cool art. Sideshow, their version of a gift shop, is one of the best curated stores in Baltimore. If you are looking for a gift, this is the place to get it.

Pretty good regional grocery store. It's close to the apt and just doesn't have the hassles of the grocery stores closer to home base.

We used to judge this grocery store. Then they remodeled it and now we praise it. Sister store to trader joes, the organic snacks and store brand snacks are the best. Oddly enough, their outdoor/home section is amazing too. In fact, most of our patio comes from this store. Stay away from the produce though. It is not the best.
