Navigating ATL is both science and art!

A sophisticated ATLien is aware of the nuance to getting around. My best advice is to avoid rush hour times as much as possible. When possible, plan to travel against the flow in/out of Downtown. Intown ATL boasts chic communities that offer fun stopovers, especially when sitting in traffic is the only alternative. When committing to a crowded event, Uber and Lyft are convenient options, but MARTA is often a smarter, cost-effective choice. Sometimes, paying to park offers an added opportunity to tailgate, extending your party a few additional hours. When in doubt, ask me (or your GPS)!!

We don’t call it Hot-Lanta, but…

There is so much to do!! You will have too many options if you are not careful. I suggest you purchase tickets in advance for any must-see attractions or events. However, it doesn’t hurt to leave some room for a spontaneous endeavor. Atlanta is always on fire with spectacular experiences and cultural events. Check publications like Creative Loafing, Rolling Out, or The Atlanta Voice for niche, local happenings.
