Some local pubs. These are not particularly brilliant when it comes to food. The Chestnut Horse in Easton or the Running Horse in Littleton or the Fox in Crawley are good quality eateries.
Good value local pub within walking distance. The pizza's from the wood fire oven outside are really good.

Sightseeing
The top of the hill is ringed by the ramparts of an Iron Age hill fort. In the centre a copse of beech trees contains the site of the 12th-century chapel of St. Catherine. There is also a mizmaze, probably cut between 1647 and 1710. Beautiful views over the city. A number of well trodden footpaths run through the water meadows at the bottom to the city centre.

The Spring leaves for Town from the stop at Forbes Road, opposite the house. Buses leave generally at 1 minute past the whole and 1 minute past the half hour daily. When returning, get off at Legion Lane or Tesco Express.
