This is a locals institution...kind of a dive bar but cozy and super San Francisco. Perfect on a rainy night. They make great martinis too and often have Pliny on tap

Literally right downstairs...I practically use it as my kitchen. Gourmet so a bit pricey (but not nearly as bad as Bi-Rite) but amazing meat, seafood, cheese and produce. Lots of local foods/drinks too.
