My “go to” cafe when I’m visiting the hoe. Dog friendly and great food! They’ve got doggy ice cream for sale for the pups or sausages chopped up for 80p. Nice little treat for my pup when he is here.

Stunning views of drakes island and you can sometimes see the Brittany ferrys come in. If you walk down you will arrive at the Barbican, where this has alot of history.

Parks & Nature
Beautiful scenery overlooking Plymouth and drakes island. You can do a range of things. Like pinics, feeding the ducks, or go for a leisurely walk. Here they have a pub next to the park or why not have an afternoon tea in the summer house. You can walk through all the history of the old historic Manor House and the beautiful gardens that go with it. They have a few cafes near the old stables too. Perfect day out.

Mount Edgcumbe Park
Beautiful scenery overlooking Plymouth and drakes island. You can do a range of things. Like pinics, feeding the ducks, or go for a leisurely walk. Here they have a pub next to the park or why not have an afternoon tea in the summer house. You can walk through all the history of the old historic Manor House and the beautiful gardens that go with it. They have a few cafes near the old stables too. Perfect day out.

Lovely views of the estuary as you walk around. Lovely and flat and under 3 miles round. Easy to follow and it’s a national trust park. £3 for parking or free for national trust members. If your a keen cyclist this is a lovely route and can follow drakes trail into the city centre from here.

I see lots of cyclists, runners and people just walking taking in the beautiful scenery. In nice weather it is nice to find a nice spot for a picnic too. Definitely one to visit. This is one of my favourite walks. It’s completely flat and you can park up and walk all the way round this reservoir. It is for everyone, I especially like to walk my dog around here. I see lots of cyclists, runners and people just walking taking in the beautiful scenery. In nice weather it is nice to find a nice spot for a picnic too. Definitely one to visit.
