Taking a walk round the pond is a St. John's summer pass-time. If you're here before the first fine Wednesday in August you can watch the rowers practice on the lake.
If you happen to be in town for said Wednesday, make sure you show up here for the Royal St. John's Regatta. Nothing else will be open anyhow, so you might as well come out.
