Short Sands is the closest beach. Right around the corner and very family friendly, Short Sands Beach is actually a bay with safe water, a playground, small grassy park and boardwalk.

Long Sands Beach is a short and lovely walk from our house. Stretching over a mile, its a great walk in itself! Great for swimming, surfing and paddle boarding, Long Sands Beach has plenty of shops and restaurants lining it's boardwalk.
