Laid back restaurant with a proud kitchen. They garantie full satisfaction or money back. Low price - as low as they get in Bergen - with a good selection of pizzas and other Italian dishes, as well as cod baked on tomatoes and some others to be tried and other specials.

The perfect place to enjoy a beer outside at the pier, or just an ice cream or a swim. My favourite is the steamed mussles. This old sardine factory was once given to the youngsters who squatted two other houses. Now it houses various studios for artists, as well as a film club and some concerts.

Bergen was built on maritime activities, thus, the Maritime museum shows the history of the town in a nutshell. Starting in stone ages, via viking ships, to middle ages, and a good presentation of the 20th century. The museum is on the top of the ridge, just 300 meters away. A perfect place on a rainy day. Also a great place for children.
