Nice vintage-style cafe in a greenhouse building, close to the ex-industrial area of NDSM. In the summer is really nice to lay down on the sand and enjoy live music and concerts. Take the ferry for free to go to the NDSM stop just behind the Central Station. The Noorderlicht is 5 min walking distance from it.

An amazing place to go when the sun is shinning. Chill out on the sand and have some snacks and beers. You will enjoy the atmosphere of the place and the good vibes flowing. :-)

This is a typical dutch bar with with a long counter selling only Dutch beers, around 20 on the tap and 200 bottles. So forget the German, British or even Belgian beers! You won't miss them. Dutch breweries are great and producing even better and innovative beers in the recent years.

One of the best music venues in town. A former church turned into this music venue with a stage and a center standing area. Nice acoustic and good line-up. Gigs go on every evening of the year. If you have luck you may get tickets for a great band playing tonight or tomorrow.

Good beers and some snacks. A great garden at the waterside to sit down at especially when the weather is nice. Just sit down drink your drink and watch the boats come by.

It's a pos-apocalyptical-industrial warehouse with artificial sand beach in fron of it for lay down in sunny days or a big fire pit in the chilly nights. Very close to my apartment therefore it worths it your visit. It's a kinda of place you go in the afternoon and might cancel your agenda for the rest of the day.
