This park is a 10 minute walk from the Pineapple Getaway. It’s a great spot to enjoy a picnic dinner at sunset while the kids play at the playground or on grassy fields. Sunrise walks are also nice. There are tennis and basketball courts. Our kids love sliding down the grassy hill on cardboard.

Driving over the Saddle Road to or from Kona? This rest stop has an excellent playground. There’s also restrooms, picnic tables, a paved walking trail with exercise stations, and a short nature walk. There’s no food along the Saddle, so pick up your picnic before you hit the road.
