The beautiful Tuncurry Beach and Rock Pool is a short 5 minute drive from our home and the perfect family friendly location to spend your day.
Tuncurry Beach accommodates for the entire family with a brand new playground, netted rock pool, as well as the option to swim or surf at the Beach.
The Rockpool Cafe is the perfect place to stop in for lunch or a snack while enjoying your day in the sun.
You can also drive your 4x4 on Tuncurry Beach provided a permit is obtained from Council or the local information centre located in Forster.
Please note that this beach is not patrolled.

If you are wanting to explore the other side of the bridge, One Mile Beach is famous for it's large sand dune at the northern end and will provide hours of entertainment.
One Mile is often patrolled at the Southern end in peak periods.
There is a café at the southern end offering delicious food and coffee.

Forster Beach and Bullring is another great location for the whole family to swim safely. The beach is patrolled during summer and the bullring is an alternative for those not so confident swimming in the ocean.
Beach Bums Café at Forster Beach is a perfect place to stop for lunch or coffee during your day out.

A natural paradise, stretching from Hawks Nest in the south to Forster and Tuncurry in the north and including Wallis, Smiths & Myall Lakes. It is famous for its magnificent coastline, many national parks & state forests and has a delightful year round temperate climate.
Neighbourhoods
Our home is a perfect family friendly space located in Tuncurry. There is ample off-street parking, including space to park your trailer or boat at the front of the property.
We ask that you respect the nearby neighbours by reducing noise after 10PM and prior to 8AM.
Please note that we are located on a busy road, therefore traffic can be quite loud during peak periods, especially at the front of the dwelling. We recommend spending your time in our spacious backyard enjoying the peace and serenity.
We would also like to remind you that it can take a little bit longer then usual to exit out of our driveway during busy times. Please be cautious and allow extra travel time if necessary when leaving our home.

Transport is limited so your own car is required
Local clubs and pubs often have courtesy buses available, however taxi's and ubers are very limited in Forster/Tuncurry and can be difficult to book during peak periods.

Forster/Tuncurry Markets
The Tuncurry markets are conducted by Marine Rescue Forster/Tuncurry normally on the fourth Saturday of each month. The markets are held in a wonderful harbourside atmosphere at John Wright Park Tuncurry, from 8am to 1pm.
If you are miss the Tuncurry markets, the Forster markets are held on the second Sunday of every month just over the Bridge at Town Park on Oyster Parade.
You’ll find a diverse selection of handmade craft, jewellery, clothing, homewares and artworks and so much more.
