Visit Saltspring Island on a Saturday and catch the local farmers market. The ferry from Crofton to Saltspring is a short 10 minute crossing with the terminal a 10 minute drive from Maple Bay. The ferry rides can get busy during the summer.

I love going for lunch here! The best home cooking served in a cafe on the farm where everything is grown. Cook Katy makes the most delicious buns, soup and chocolate cake. The cafe is licensed so you can enjoy a glass of local wine.
