Whiteface Mountain is incredible anytime of the year. From world class skiing to the 6 mile drive up Veterans Memorial Highway in summer. Once you arrive the top parking lot then an easy walk through a tunnel cut into the mountain and an elevator ride approximately 28 stories to the summit. Views galore!!!! Fantastic for all ages.

Take a ride to the top of a world class ski jump and experience the same view as the athletes that started there during the 1980 Olympics. Well worth the visit as you first ascend in a glass enclosed gondola and then a 26 floor elevator ride to the top. Jumping takes place year round (summer on a synthetic surface). Check the schedule on their website. During the summer freestyle skiers practice their flips, spins and turns landing in the swimming pool.

Home of the 1980 Miracle On Ice and recently revamped. Great place to watch hockey games, skating events and skate at certain times. The Olympic Museum is worth a visit and a new restaurant and bar just opened over looking the famous Olympic Speed Skating Oval.

Great place to skate where history was made in 1980 with Eric Heiden winning 5 gold medals.
