Ashton lane is a popular and vibrant lane just off of Byres Road in the West End of Glasgow. There are a bunch of pubs there, but my personal favorite is Brel - which offers a great selection of beers and has a spacious beer garden out back.

Only 2/3 min walk from the apartment. Cranside kitchen offers a great selection of food - Greek, Spanish tapas, Japanese and Chinese. They have open air drinking and dining when the weather is good, but also plenty space inside to eat and drink.

Whiskey distilleries
The Glengoyne distillery is around 40 mins north of Glasgow. It’s a little hard to get there by public transport so I would recommend a taxi as you won’t to be able to try the whiskey when you’re there.
