Hikers are required to fill out a self-issue wilderness permit. Recreation pass or $5 day-use fee is required. Day passes are not sold at the Linton Lake Trailhead and the closest place to get a day pass is at the Proxy Falls Trailhead. Permits can also be purchased ahead of time at our Adventure and Visitor Center.
