Food
This is one of my most favorite spots in town! Century Square has several unique shops as well as some pretty delicious restaurants to choose from. We love to grab a bite to eat and then sit and hangout on the turf lawn. Our baby loves it too, since he can crawl all around. Fun vibes and good times happen here for sure!!
There is a FREE parking garage towards the back of the property near Star Cinema Grill! Paid parking is about $3.00 for an hour and $6.00 for a few hours. (Don’t quote me on it though - I’m not sure if they change it during game weekends!)

favorite!! I grew up with Gringo’s in my hometown, and when we moved to CS I would tell my husband that the only thing this town is missing is Gringo’s… someone must have heard me, because much to my delight one was opened just a couple of summer’s ago!
*Pro tip from a local - it’s often packed, but if you add yourself on the online waitlist it will be much smoother for you! 😉

Gringo's Mexican Kitchen {College Station}
BEST TexMex around… my personal

If you’re looking for a nice dinner in town for a special occasion (or not 😊), we highly recommend The Republic Steakhouse! We have never been disappointed here.

Coffee
We love this little shop! It’s only a short walk from our home, so it’s one of our favorite things to do when the weather is nice. Nothing like good coffee and donuts on a Saturday morning… mhmm I can smell it now just talking about it! My favorite thing to get is an iced honey lavender latte and a bacon, egg, cheese croissant!! We also love the blueberry cake donuts! Warning: It does get packed sometimes as it’s a popular spot!

Polite Coffee Roasters is located in the The Kyle House near downtown Bryan. Not only is the coffee amazing, the building itself is absolutely beautiful with plenty of working & study areas as well as space to visit with friends. While you are in this area, I also suggest visiting some of the shops in downtown Bryan!

Not only is the coffee amazing, the building itself is absolutely beautiful with plenty of working & study areas as well as space to visit with friends. While you are in this area, I also suggest visiting some of the shops in downtown Bryan!
Parks
Tanglewood Park is our neighborhood park - has a great playground for children, several picnic tables, a walking track, volleyball and tennis courts, and a splash pad! It’s about a 3 min drive and 20 min walk from our house if you’re wanting to get out.

This is a fun little farmer’s market in town that we really enjoy for fresh produce & plants & such! One of our favorite items here is Weaver’s honey - it’s really tasty! If anything it’s fun just to walk around.
