Ramsgate is a 15 minutes drive from the apartment, it is a historic town and has the only Royal Harbour in the country. Take in the sights and sounds of a working harbour and enjoy the cafe culture whilst enjoying the views

Take a stroll or bike ride along the Viking coastal trail to The Reculver Towers and Roman Fort. They are an local landmark and imposing ruin. This was the site of one of the earliest Roman Forts built again Saxon raids. Toilets , cafe and car parking spaces available and a great place to visit whether you love history or not.

Deal is a quaint, quirky and quintessential seaside town in the Garden of England and a half hour drive from the apartment. With a pebble beach, pier, great restaurants amazing views and location for the filming of ‘Liar’ it most certainly warrants a day out.
