Dining to suit every taste imaginable. From mussels on an open beach fire to Michelin starred restaurants - the world is your oyster!
Trevibbanmill, the local winery located just outside of Padstow is worth a visit with wine tasting and the vineyard tour being pre-bookable. The local ‘Harlyn’ white wine is definitely worth sampling.

Are you going to cook whilst you are in Cornwall? Well it is simply impossible to but fresher local produce. Victorious vegetables. Champion cheese. And the MIGHTIEST meat you will ever eat! Please tell the incredible staff Jo and Ben recommended the farm shop and they might stamp our discount card! lol The deli is amazing - fresh salads and sandwiches and pasties and sausage rolls and scones - perfect fare for your picnic at Stepper Point. https://www.padstowfarmshop.co.uk

7 Bays

Voted one of UK’s Best Beaches by Sunday Times! Sheltered from the north westerly winds, the golden sands (usually life guard cover from early May to the end of September and at Easter) offers something for everyone. The long expanse of beach makes for a lovely beach walk. You can reach the small bays and coves (subject to the tide) and it’s a great spot for beach BBQ’s. Very popular with Stand Up Paddleboarders and kayakers too. Kayaking tours and coasteering are also possible. Being more sheltered than other beaches close by, the surf is generally great for beginners. Many surf schools and SUP lessons take place from Harlyn. Sea kayaking aligned with the tide times allows you to explore the bays and park up on the beaches not accessible by foot. Hire is readily available from the beach. The Beachbox can be found in Harlyn Bay car park, serving tasty snacks, breakfast items, wraps, toasties, waffles, tray bakes, ice creams, teas, coffees and hot chocolates to name a few.

Family friendly beach. Rockpools and a man made sea water pool. The Trevone Bay café is open daily and Bruno’s bar usually serves 3 or 4 times per week. Live music plays on occasion and is usually announced on their Facebook page.

Sightseeing

A great way to sea puffins, seals, dolphins and if you are lucky basking sharks. Basking sharks can be seen around Cornwall's waters from April until October, with numbers peaking in the summer months. Often, the best time to see them is from mid-May to July. The earliest basking sharks arrive in Cornwall in April, just as the water temperature begins to rise. https://www.padstowsealifesafaris.co.uk/sea-life/basking-sharks-in-cornwall/

Local roads can be busy at peak periods. If you are venturing out and about either leave early or be prepared for traffic. Alternatively stay local and walk cycle or take the ferry!

Camel Trail

The Camel Trail from Padstow via Wadebridge to the Camel Trail Tea Garden (and on to Bodmin if you fancy the extra few miles each way), is a great way to follow the estuary into Wadebridge and appreciate the beautiful scenery along the flat pathway and disused railway onward to Bodmin. Tandems and electric bikes as well as traditional bikes (with comfy seats) are available to hire from the cycle hire places located close to the Lobster Hatchery. Bens Crib Box Cafe found in Padstow car park close by serves up great coffees and breakfast items as does the Atlantic Coast Express located half way
