The alternative city zone Metelkova Mesto. Variety of alternative night clubs with all sorts of music, dj and live concerts. Lively outdoor happening. One of the oldest hostels in Ljubljana and certainly most iconic one is here. Hostel Celica is placed in former Yugoslav army prisons.

In the Slovenian Ethnographic Museum there is Kavarna SEM. Lovely place to seat outside, have your coffee and enjoy the green soundings of the Park Tabor.
