Yummy! Great food and drinks, including their own distilled gin. Pricey, but well worth it. Reservations recommended. Located in an old, historic Washington Bank.

The ONLY place to go for bike, kayak, paddle board, golf cart rentals. There are other places to rent, but only ONE IBXO and only ONE Liane Harsh, owner and operator. Call ahead and she'll have you set up and ready for your outdoor activities. And she and Jensen can fix just about anything! Right next door to Backwater Jack's and the public boat ramp and kayak launch.

Just about the best Italian food and pizza this side of Italy. Eat in or even better call in your take out order to eat on the balcony at "318" to watch the amazing sunset over the Tar-Pamlico. Just doesn't get any better!

Very educational for people of all ages, and several days a week you can catch a ride on their "river boat tour" to learn all about our wonderful river and ecosystems. Reservations required!
