If you fancy a drive to Vernon check out this park. Lovely venue for a swim in Kalamalka Lake or check out the hiking trails.

It takes maybe an hour and a bit to reach the top......depending on how many breaks you take to soak in the views. A close 10 minute drive from us.
A great place to find out more about the attractions in our are. It’s located right across from the IGA grocery store on Main Street, a couple of minutes drive or about 15 min walk…..mostly uphill on the way back to Fat Quail.

Great friendly bakery with yummy baked goods. It is about a 20 minute walk (includes a hill) or a 3 minute drive.

A local favourite place to swim. About a 10 minute drive from us. You might want to pack some water shoes as there is a reason it is called Pebble Beach. We have beach towels here you can use. Let us know if you want to borrow a lawn chair.
