Although it looks a bit boring, this museum is really awesome. Especially for smaller kids ( from 2-12) it is really good as there is a maritieme playground on the top floor that is supercool! My son loves it there. Also, on the ground floor, you can be the captain of your own boat on the water...

Natural playground and green oasis for kids in the middle of the city. Cool perks: waterfountains when it is hot and place to build huts and explore. Great getaway from busy city life. Nearby the zoo.

Although I am not a great fan of Zoos, Blijdorp has a specific status as it is superspacious and takes good care of iets animals. Consider it also as a very big city park with animals. The butterfly dome is my absolute favorite! And the playgrounds there for kids are very nice. Make sure you take your time as it is very big.
