Beach
9 minutes drive from the studio with a wide view of the entrance to the Cook Strait. Soft white sand, changing rooms, a playground for young children, smooth grassy spaces above the beach, and quite a bit of parking space make this a fantastic spot.
It also offers quite a lot of shelter from the wind, and the cafe nearby does a good job of food and coffee.

A small beach, quite secluded and calm from the wind when blowing northerily.
Gets last rays of the sun in evening.

Fine dining
This is a very special restaurant with amazing food and drink. Five star Michelin quality food with friendly service and an atmosphere that’s not at all pretentious. Try the squid, blue warehou, Smoked blue moki rillettes - all superb. One of Wellington’s best.

This 25-seater restaurant really feels like you’re at the best dinner party ever. Rita creates a three-course meal each day from whatever is in season at the time.
Set menu with 2 sittings each night. Need to book in advance.
