The beach for the locals. In August, the lake is quite warm.
You can take a short hike, or picnic on the lawn. Boat rentals are available if you want to paddle around. If you have crab traps and it's the season, it's a fun afternoon out seeing what you can catch. (Fishing licence is required for crabbing.)
