European style baked goods: Country loaf (delish!!! & will serve you for days), croissants to die for & I love their peanutbutter cookie. Of course the scone & little pies are good, too ;) Plus they have great coffee: Cafe Vita.

I love to grab a coffee and stroll either to here or from here. If you park downtown, get your favorite drink (Mine is Mela's own recipe: Sunshine Latte - espresso with cinnamon in the shot & honey), walk to the end of the block past Arlberg's and you'll see the walking bridge that leads over the train tracks down to the water front & there you go!

Not only do they have a mix of healthy and comfort food, you can also mix and match a la carte items from the back of the menu. I love the fish, my hubby loves the steaks and we both like the salads.

The owner, Josh, is very low key and down-to-earth. He'll guide you through the menu whether you're a new-comer or just looking for something new. There's no stuffiness to this place, but a comfortable upscale bar to chew on appys and chat with friends.
